Wireless MPG questions from the floor
What happens if the wireless MPG radio link drops mid-jog?
The receiver drops the enable and emergency relay outputs within 100 ms of link loss. The control sees the same state as a pulled cable and holds the axis.
Can 32 wireless pendants really run in one shop?
Yes. Each pendant is paired to its receiver by a unique address, and up to 32 pairs operate simultaneously on the same floor without interference.
Does a wireless MPG need CNC control software changes?
No. The receiver presents the same A/B quadrature, axis and rate signals as a wired MPG. It lands on the existing handwheel port with a matched pinout.
How long does a wireless MPG pendant battery actually last?
About two months on two AA alkaline cells under normal single-shift use; 30 days is the guaranteed floor. The pendant sleeps between pulses and wakes on handwheel or key activity.
